It looks like it is going to stay in the 80s now in my area so that means, its, like, ALMOST SPOOKY SEASON!
(to be fair stores have had Halloween since July so....)
But I wanted to write a quick blog post advertising my posting of the 90s version of the Arcade Halloween VHS tape series. Its actually been done for...longer than I'd like to admit... But! the main reason for that is a large portion of the video is blocked for US and Canadian viewers if I upload it on youtube and I haven't really felt like exploring other options...UNTIL NOW.

Really, I just didn't feel like going through the rigamarole of creating a new account on dailymotion or vimeo or maybe archive . org just for one video. But I saw that Wix can post videos and I'll leave it up here for now...at least until I ponder archive for it.
I really enjoy doing these because its fun to use my own memory as well as looking at primary documents (i.e. original halloween broadcasts) to see how to build my own. As well as finding new commercials and bumpers and interstitials that give me that old school Halloween vibes. And also an editing challenge, to a degree.
And it also pushed me to create a new section of the website for the first time in a hot minute as well, so the Arcade Castle Videos is going to be the hub for videos on the site and is where you can find links to both the 90s Edition, and the 80s Edition (which is still alive on youtube for now...)
But I will also post it here. Happy Haunting!
